Dear Parents/Carers,

Phonics and reading are really important to us here at Blanford Mere.  We have invested heavily in our  phonics scheme Little Wandle, which was a huge success. 

We would like to invite you to a short meeting on Friday 19th September 2025 9.00am-9.30am for a continuation of the scheme and how you can best support your child at home as they begin their reading journey in Year 1.  If you are able to attend, can you please sign up using the forms tab on the school website ‘Little Wandle Phonic Meeting - Year 1’.
