We are pleased to tell you that we have arranged an exciting trip for Year 3/4 for the Autumn term as part of their topic ‘Victorian Britain’.

We have arranged for Year 34 to visit Ironbridge Blist’s Hill Victorian Town in Telford on Friday 26th September 2025. The coach will leave school promptly at 9.15am and return at 3.15pm (approximately).  During the visit the children will take part in a Victorian School session where they will have the opportunity to dress in costume (provided by Blist’s Hill) and take part in a school lesson as children would have done in the Victorian times.  Children will be required to wear school uniform on this day.

A packed lunch and two re-sealable drinks will be required for the visit. Could you please ensure you send your child’s lunch in a plastic bag so that all contents of the bag can be disposed of easily once your child has finished their lunch? This will also ensure they do not have to carry things around with them all day.

A voluntary contribution of £24.33 will include entrance to the museum, the session led by the museum, coach travel and insurance.  Please note that if insufficient contributions are received the event cannot go ahead. Could you please complete the forms attached and return to your child’s class teacher before Friday 5th September 2025. For children entitled to free school meals, please complete your lunch request on the on line consent form.
