Condover Residential 2026

Update at 12:30pm
The children arrived safely at Telford Park! The weather is dry and sunny!. They've had a fantastic time exploring the spider web, racing down the slides, and tackling the obstacle course. Everyone has enjoyed their lunch and will be heading off to 13:00pm to Condover Hall. Excitement levels are high; they can't wait to begin their adventure!

Afternoon
The children arrived at Condover at 1:30pm, buzzing with excitement, and were warmly welcomed straight off the coach by their activity leaders.
Following this, the children took part in a safety briefing and a guided tour of the vast Condover site, there was so much to explore!
The children are currently playing games on the field with the leaders! After this they will be shown to their rooms, where they will unpack their belongings before heading off to their first activities: abseiling, orienteering, or archery!

Evening

Teatime was at 6:15pm, and after a day full of fresh air and activity, there were lots of very hungry children and staff! Everyone ate well before heading back to their rooms to grab coats and water bottles, ready for the mini-Olympics.

The children loved competing in teams and showed fantastic enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the events!

After an action-packed day, it was time to wind down. Back in their rooms, the children washed, got ready for bed, and then gathered together for hot chocolate and biscuits. They shared their proudest achievements of the day and what they were most excited for tomorrow.

There were plenty of tired faces, and most children were asleep by 10.45pm... though not quite all! With breakfast at 8:35am, everyone can enjoy a little rest before another busy day packed with five exciting activities.

Morning
The children were up bright and early at 8:35am, showered, dressed, and ready for the day ahead. Breakfast was a real treat, with cereal, toast, bacon, eggs, beans, and even waffles with maple syrup and fruit!

With full stomachs and big smiles, the children set off for their first activities of the day: zip wire, archery, or abseiling. Everyone is happy, energised, and ready for more adventure!

Evening

What an incredible day it has been! The children completed five exciting activities: zip wire, archery, conquest, orienteering, and the grand finale, a brilliant campfire!

Lunch was thoroughly enjoyed, with plenty of delicious options to choose from, followed by some well-earned free time before diving back into the afternoon’s activities. A visit to the shop was a highlight for many, turning into a mini shopping spree!

Teatime was another success, with a wide variety of tasty choices for everyone. The children have eaten extremely well and have really enjoyed the meals throughout the trip.

The weather stayed warm and sunny, making it perfect for a full day of outdoor fun. After all the activity, fresh air, and food, there were some very tired children! They returned to their rooms, got washed and ready for bed, and settled down quickly. By 9:30pm, it was peaceful and quiet, with everyone fast asleep.

Tomorrow morning, the children will be up, packed, and ready to leave their rooms by 8:45am before taking part in their final activity.

Morning

After such a busy day yesterday, the children slept incredibly well last night. They were woken at 6:50am to begin getting ready, washing, brushing their teeth, packing their belongings, and stripping their beds… a task some found quite challenging!

Breakfast was enjoyed by all, with a selection of cereal, toast, eggs, beans, sausages, fruit, and yogurt.

By 9am, the children had taken their belongings outside and began their final activities: trapeze, orienteering, or zip wire.

Afterwards, they will attend an awards ceremony, enjoy lunch, collect their belongings, and head back to school at 12:30pm.

We will send a school life message when the children leave Condover so you know when to collect your child. If your child is not being collected earlier, please email info@blanford.dudley.sch.uk so we can arrange for them to remain in school until 15:15pm.

Everyone has had a truly memorable and enjoyable experience!
