Covid-19 - the right test helps protect us all


There are TWO different types of Covid-19 tests, which test you usually take depends on whether or not you have symptoms.  It's really important that people understand the difference between the two types of tests and when they should be taking them. Testing correctly and regularly will make sure we are keeping infection levels low and our communities safe.

Other symptoms linked to COVID-19

Pupils and staff are still advised to arrange a PCR test, if they are displaying any of the  'other symptoms' associated with Covid-19.

  • Loss of appetite
  • Extrreme tiredness
  • Headaches
  • Joint pain or muscle pain
  • Nausea
  • Sore throat
  • Sneezing
  • Diarrhoea (must be cleared of symptoms for 48hrs before returning to school)
  • Vomiting (must be cleared of symptoms for 48hrs before returning to school)
  • Runny nose or congestion
