Cinema and Bowling Trip – Celebration of Year Six - £10 per pupil (pay by Fri 21st June)

To end Year 6, we have organised a trip for all of our Year 6 children on Wednesday 16th July as a celebration of their primary years. The trip will be to Showcase Cinema in Dudley where they will be treated to a private screening of the new summer blockbuster, ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ which will be released in July. We will also be having 2 games of bowling at ‘Tenpin Dudley’. Children are allowed to bring some money to purchase treats for the cinema/bowling if you are happy for them to bring some money, but they will be responsible for looking after this. Children will need to bring a packed lunch and a drink (in a ruck sack or disposable bag) and can wear their own clothes. Mobile phones are not permitted.

We are asking parents to drop children off at Showcase Cinema in Dudley at 9.30am and then pick them up from the Tenpin Dudley (next to the cinema) at 2.30pm. Blanford Mere staff will be there to meet the children and dismiss them. If you cannot take your child, please arrange with another parent to take your child.

The cost of the activities is £13.50 per pupil for the whole day and we are asking for a voluntary contribution of £10 per child. The school will pay the remaining amount. However, if there are insufficient funds, the trip may not be viable and will not be able to go ahead. We hope that you will support us with this. We are looking forward to a fun-filled day with the children, and thank you for your continued support throughout this last year of your child’s primary education. All payments must be paid online using the ‘School Money’ system. You will receive a notification when payments are due – electronic receipts are available through the same system.
