Year 1 & 2 Tennis Club

Sessions are open to both boys and girls. The sessions will be run by Adrian Hyde from Wall Heath Tennis Club, as long as there is sufficient interest for the club to go ahead.  Therefore, we can only accommodate 18 pupils.  

The club will run on Monday’s as follows:

January 6^th, 13^th, 20^th, 27^th

February 3^rd, 10^th, 24^th

March 3^rd, 10^th,17^th, 24^th, 31^st                                

Time   3.20 p.m. – 4.20 p.m.

Place   KS2 Playground.

At the end of the club children will be dismissed from the KS2 playground.  Parents should wait at the KS2 gate.

Cost.    The cost is £3.00 per session, thus a total of £36.00 for 12 weeks.  This must be paid in advance, and we cannot refund for non-attendance. We pay the coach the same amount each week whether or not everyone attends.

Clothing

All sessions will be outdoors on the playground and children should bring track suits or jogging bottoms and sweat tops, shorts and t-shirt and trainers. Gloves and hats may also be worn if the weather is colder.

If there is wet weather, adapted tennis activities will still continue inside school. The club will not be postponed.

Year 1 & 2 Tennis Club Spring Term 2025.  You pay via the school’s online payment system - School Money to secure the place. This means that both the online form and online payment have been received.  Places will be allocated on a ‘First come first served’ basis (we have limited numbers of 18 children).  If there is insufficient interest the club may be cancelled and any money paid refunded.
