To finish off our first half term of the year and to celebrate our fantastic children, we will have our Blanford Mere SHARED values day on Thursday 23rd October.
To start off the day, all children will attend a whole school assembly where we will celebrate and reflect together. The assembly will also include celebrating our VIPs (Value Inspiring Pupils). Each class teacher has chosen a child who has consistently demonstrated our school values, with the focus this half term on ‘SELF BELIEF’. Parents/carers of the VIPs have been invited to attend the assembly.
In addition, these SHARED values days have also given both staff and children opportunities to try a variety of activities with a range of different children and staff and have been a hugely enjoyable way to celebrate the children’s hard work.
As with the other days, children will be able to choose a number of options from a list of activities they might like to take part it. Once again we have a wide range of sports, music, games, art, computing and other activities on offer.
Could all children wear their own clothes all day but please ensure that these (including footwear) are suitable for taking part in the activities they have been allocated.
Thank you for your support with these celebrations. We hope the children once again have a fantastic opportunity to make memories and celebrate their successful transition to their new classes.
