Congratulations to Junior, who has just rung the bell to celebrate his final chemotherapy treatment

Junior was diagnosed last year with medulloblastoma, a cancerous brain tumor that starts in the cerebellum at the back of the brain. Since then, he has faced so many challenges with bravery and a smile that inspires everyone around him.

Throughout countless hospital stays and treatments, Junior has continued to come to school whenever he could, eager to learn and play with his friends. His courage, determination and cheerful spirit have touched all of us.

Junior’s family has been by his side every step of the way, showing incredible love and strength. We are so proud of this amazing little boy and everything he has overcome.

Junior, you are a true superhero. Your school family is cheering you on today and always.

Miss Stanton, Mrs Crook and all of the staff at Blanford Mere.
