Article 29

Education must develop every child’s personality, talents and abilities to the full. It must encourage the child’s respect for human rights, as well as respect for their parents, their own and other cultures, and the environment.

Thank you

We would like to say 'thank you' to Natalie, mum of Theo BB in 2TD, who has donated 10 iPhones to school for the children to use for photography. There will be opportunities for children to use them as part of a VIP Day activity and in their art lessons.  Thanks also goes to Eesha in Year 6 for donating her old phone.

If you have an old phone, you are able to donate, please 'Factory Reset' it, remove SIM and memory cards and drop it off at the office.

Mrs Oliver

Congratulations

Congratulations to Cole (56HO) who graded at his local karate dojo for his 1st Kyu Brown. It was a three-hour grading, which was very difficult, including a mixture of martial arts and Japanese language.   He then completed his exam by doing 200 hundred commitments round kicks on a kick post. He has worked extremely hard to get this far, and all he has left now is the black belt. Well done, Cole, you have demonstrated all of our school values.

World Book Day 2026

We had a truly magical time celebrating World Book Day in school this year. A huge thank you to all the parents who came in to read with the children it was wonderful to see our classrooms filled with stories and shared moments of reading.

We would also like to thank everyone who made such a fantastic effort to dress up for the occasion. The creativity and enthusiasm helped make the day even more special for the children.

World Book Day reminded us all of the joy that books bring and how powerful reading together can be. Thank you to our whole school community for helping to make it such a memorable and magical day.
