Dear Madam/Sir,
We have now formally committed to the group, with a constitution, and have set up regular litter picks on the last Saturday of every month. We are getting increasingly good numbers each month but we would still like to encourage more families with children.
With this in mind we would really appreciate you sharing the news of these events with your school community. We provide all equipment, including kids litter pickers, and everybody is welcome.
We also think it's a great opportunity for children to earn their green Blue Peter badge which then allows them access to lots of national attractions for free!!
Finally, we have a Christmas event on Saturday 10th December at the park, with a free activity trail for families, hot drinks and cakes. We wondered if some of your children would like to come and perform a festive song or two (if they have already learned them as part of your usual festivities, or if you have a school choir).
