Sports Day 2018
What a shame that the great British weather let us down! We will not reschedule the event for Parents as we appreciate that it is difficult, for some parents' to take time off. However, we will re-run the sports events, with the children when the weather is dry! We apologise for any inconvenience.
Swimming Year 3
Don't forget that Year 3 will be swimming every afternoon from Monday 11th June until Friday 22nd June. Please remember to send their 'kit' in on a daily basis. It is government requirement that children should be able to swim at least 25m by the time they leave Primary school. Therefore any KS2 children who have not reached that target will be asked to take part in a 'catch up' week. Parents will be notified of this.
We are pleased to inform you that Dudley Catering, Cleaning and Caretaking Services have recommended a school meal price freeze for 2018/19.
As you are aware, there has been an annual price increase over recent years, however, to remain competitive and affordable to Dudley parents they have decided that they will not be recommending a price increase this year.
Therefore, the price of a primary school meal will remain at £2.30 in September 2018, which is extremely good value.

Are you entitlement to 30 hours free child care for your 3 or 4 year old child?
You may be aware that the government is extending the amount of free childcare available from September 2018. We are now planning places for the new academic year and would like to be able to offer a limited number of these 30 hour free childcare places to families who may be eligible.
The website is interactive and explains the criteria for eligibility in detail, as well as the benefits of the scheme. Also, please click on the attached criteria leaflet from the DFE - to see how the scheme works.
If you need any further information about eligibility then please see the government website.
